With new reports showing that there is a rise in homeowners choosing to spend money on improving their homes as an alternative to moving house, it was no surprise that attendance at this year’s Build It Live show in Bicester, Oxfordshire, was massive!
Team Roccia once again put together a fantastic exhibition to showcase our products and services, and we welcomed thousands of home renovators and self-builders on to our stand for a taste of Roccia’s most popular product ranges and to learn more about us.
Build It Live Bicester is an annual exhibition, designed to provide face-to-face inspiration, showcasing thousands of products and providing expert consultations. Build It Live a must-visit show for anyone looking to self-build, renovate a property or extend their home – whether you’re a DIY enthusiast, a seasoned professional, or simply exploring ideas for your next project. It offers a wealth of inspiration, knowledge, and opportunities to connect with industry experts. There were businesses covering all aspects of home renovation – from experts who can help to design a home renovation to how to power a home using renewable energy – all under one roof.
Our stand was a fantastic representation of our Preston showroom – despite being much smaller than the 44,000 square feet of premium showroom space we benefit from in the showroom (well we are the largest tile and bath showroom in the UK!)
We displayed a range of classic and contemporary luxury tiles, and provided design inspiration showcasing some of our latest bathroom suites and kitchens designed for customers.
And our award winning design and sales team were all on hand to discuss how to plan a creatively unique bathroom or kitchen from start to finish.
A Chance to Discuss Projects with Homeowners Transforming Their Living Spaces
Build It Live was a fantastic opportunity to hear about all of the exciting home renovation projects and home extensions being undertaken by people visiting the show.
Kitchens and bathrooms remain the most popular renovation projects, with a focus on both functionality and style. Many people were upgrading to high-end bathroom fixtures, luxury tiles, and introducing underfloor heating for a spa-like experience; while kitchen designs were focused on creating functional and showstopping spaces.
Homeowners are also increasingly seeking to express their individuality through unique design elements, experimenting with vibrant colours and textured finishes, which is exactly what we can help with given our choice and breadth of product and expert design knowledge.
The integration of smart technology, and transforming homes into intelligent living spaces, was high on the priority list for many of the home renovators we spoke to and sustainability continues to be a major focus in home renovations.
As well as our wall and floor tiles, lots of visitors to the stand were keen to hear more about out outdoor antislip tiles as investment in creating outdoor living spaces that reflect the luxuriousness of the home continues to rise.
